Meet the Scuba Diving Team
Craig Stammer (Charlie Brown)
Owner & Recreational Instructor
Craig started scuba diving at the age of 12 and from his very first dive he was enraptured by the ocean. Craig has been helping out with diver training in his local dive centre since 2015. He completed his Dive Master course in 2018 and qualified as Instructor in 2021.
His most memorable dive was his first ever sea dive, done in Sodwana, in which he had the amazing experience of diving with a pod of dolphins. This dive has to date only been rivalled by a dive in southern Mozambique on which he saw 6 Bull sharks on the same dive.
On his bucket list is diving the Red Sea and Bora Bora and doing another trip to the Maldives to share the amazing drift diving with a group of friends.
Anna Naude (Heather)
Owner, Recreational Instructor Trainer & Technical Instructor
Anna has been scuba diving since 2003 and presenting scuba diving training as a Recreational Instructor since 2006. Her field of expertise progressed to training Instructors in the recreational field from 2010 and expanding further to doing technical scuba diving training since 2015. Never being quite satisfied with her own level of scuba diving training, Anna also became a Performance Diver instructor in 2019.
She is the most excitable member of the team be it an open water training dive or a Deco60 celebratory dive, talk to her and you’ll see.
Her favourite scuba diving site is the SS Carnatic in the Red Sea. Ask her about the epic miscommunication in hand signals for a good laugh. Scuba diving the Cenotes in Mexico and being able to train one of their instructors as a Deco40 diver is another highlight and a dive trip she most certainly wants to do again.
On her bucket list of diving sites are the wrecks of Scapa Flow and the Solomon Islands.
Anna can present scuba diving courses from Open Water 20 to Instructor and a number of specialty scuba diving courses on open circuit as well as technical open circuit scuba diving from Deco 40 to Deco 60.
Tyrone Dadswell (TK)
Owner, RAID Recreational Open Circuit & Rebreather Instructor & PADI Recreational Instructor
Tyrone started scuba diving in 2003 and did his Dive Master scuba diving course in 2010 while living in Asia. As a way of escaping the rigors of normal office work, he helped as Dive Master, leading dives and assisting with scuba diving courses, in his spare time. In 2014 it was time for him further his journey as a scuba diving professional by becoming an Instructor. Always looking for new adventures and furthering his scuba diving training, Tyrone did his rebreather diver course in 2016 and his Deco 50 scuba diving course in 2018. His latest achievement is qualifying as an instructor on the Poseidon rebreather.
His most memorable scuba diving experience was off Sipadan island, diving with hammerheads in a tornado formation starting from 30m all the way to the surface. Scuba diving in the middle of that; watching them play cannot be topped by much.
On his bucket list is scuba diving between the continents at Sylfra in Iceland as well as scuba diving on a WWII submarine wreck off Tioman Island in Malaysia.
Tyrone can present diving training from Open Water 20 to Dive Master and a number of specialty courses on open circuit as well as Open Water to Rescue diver training on closed-circuit rebreather.
Robert de la Motte (USB - Un-Skinny Bob)
Recreational Instructor
Robert started diving in 2010 and kept it low key until February 2017, when he started up his dive professional journey.
During the course of this journey Robert also qualified as a Deco50 diver and in 2018 he qualified as Instructor and thoroughly enjoys training.
His favourite dive site is the Nungwe side of Zanzibar for the excellent
viz, clear warm water and LOTS of fish life. A very close second is the
Produce wreck at Aliwal Shoal because of the prettiness of the Produce and its fish life.
As instructor Robert can train from Open Water 20 to Rescue diver and a number of speciality courses too.
Louis de Kock
Recreational Instructor
Louis started diving in 2014 after his children bought him a Discover Scuba voucher. The bug bit and he did certifications up to Rescue diver, where after he waited before completing his Dive Master in 2019 and started his Instructor training.
Louis is also a qualified Deco40, Wreck and Advanced Wreck diver and in 2021 he qualified as Instructor.
His favourite dive site is a tight draw between Shark Point (in Mauritius) and Aliwal Shoal as he is really fascinated by sharks. He is also a member of Sharklife and has their certificate as a Master Shark Diver.
One of the diving sites on his bucket list is diving the wrecks in the Red Sea.
As instructor Louis can train from Open Water 20 to Rescue diver and a number of speciality courses too.
